Our work contributes to Vermont (and beyond) becoming a place where we continue to grow our capacity to live in true community with each other. A place where all people succeed, regardless of their zip code, their age, their race or ethnicity, their sexual orientation, gender or ability status.
Vermont is working towards the benefits that come from building authentic, equitable, anti-racist communities and organizations.

Building community brings joy and purpose to our lives.
We help people share their stories with each other, seek missing perspectives, listen carefully, and work through challenging conversations. These experiences build lasting connections that help groups weather storms, and accomplish important things together.

Working towards justice creates connection and opportunity.
The Creative Discourse Group is a multiracial team that works to center the voices and lived experience of Black people, Indigenous people, people of color, and others who have been marginalized. We seek to disrupt unjust systems in our work. We help our clients empower, appreciate and compensate those who have been marginalized. We help our clients build equitable systems.

Talking and learning aren’t enough. Things need to change.
We stand side by side with our clients as they develop the knowledge, capacity and courage needed to transform their organizations and communities. We help people accomplish realistic and meaningful goals. Shifts in culture and systems take time and we encourage persistence in ourselves and our clients.
